1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing or using Master the Road, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you obtained the app through Apple’s App Store, your use is also subject to the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms supplement that agreement and do not reduce any mandatory consumer rights.
2. About the app
Master the Road is an educational driving simulator and game focused on manual-transmission controls. Features, lessons, availability and supported devices may change as the app develops.
3. License
Subject to these terms, Ouix grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use Master the Road on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store rules.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, sell, rent, sublicense or commercially exploit the app except where law expressly permits;
- reverse engineer, bypass security, interfere with operation or attempt unauthorized access, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
- use automated systems to generate invalid advertising traffic or repeatedly click production ads;
- use the app in an unlawful, unsafe, fraudulent or harmful manner;
- remove copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices.
5. Advertising and third-party services
The app may display advertising provided by Google AdMob and its partners. Ads and external links may lead to third-party services that we do not control. Their content, availability and privacy practices are governed by their own terms and policies. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
6. No account or in-app purchases
The current version does not require a user account and does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions. If this changes, the applicable prices and additional conditions will be shown before purchase.
7. Intellectual property
Master the Road, its software, visual design, text, audio, graphics, branding and original content are owned by Ouix or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Third-party software and services remain the property of their respective owners.
8. Updates and availability
We may add, modify, suspend or discontinue features, provide updates, or stop supporting older devices. We do not guarantee that the app or advertising services will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Updates may be required for continued use.
9. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that simulated vehicle behavior exactly matches any real vehicle or that completing lessons proves real-world driving competence. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ouix is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the app. We are not responsible for real-world driving decisions made in reliance on the simulation. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer protections.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, service protection or a serious breach of these terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable consumer and procedural law may hear disputes. Before starting formal proceedings, you are invited to contact us so we can try to resolve the issue.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the app, law or third-party services. The date above will be revised. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply, subject to any additional notice or consent required by law.
