1. Who we are
Master the Road is published by Ouix (referred to as “we”, “us” or “our”). For privacy questions or requests, contact tar.wael1@gmail.com.
2. Scope
This policy applies to the Master the Road application for iPhone and for Android, distributed on the App Store and on Google Play, and to its related support pages. The app is a manual-transmission driving simulator and educational game. It does not require an account.
3. Information stored on your device
The app stores the following information locally on your device so that it can work as expected:
- lesson progress and star ratings;
- language, sound, haptic, accessibility and driving preferences;
- the number of successful lessons used to schedule interstitial ads.
We do not receive this local game data. You can erase it with the reset option in the app, by clearing the app’s data, or by uninstalling the app.
4. Advertising and consent services
Master the Road uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display interstitial advertising and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to collect and manage privacy choices where required.
Depending on your region, device settings and consent choices, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- device and advertising identifiers — the Apple advertising identifier on iOS when authorized, or the Android advertising ID on Android where available and permitted by your settings;
- app interactions, ad impressions, ad clicks and diagnostic information;
- consent selections and information needed to prevent fraud and measure advertising.
Google may use this information to provide, limit, personalize, measure and secure advertising according to your choices and applicable law. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Anonymous diagnostics
Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics are enabled by default to provide anonymous diagnostics. You can turn them off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous diagnostics.
When enabled, Analytics receives limited gameplay events such as app launch, lesson start and completion, outcome, stars, driving score, selected language, difficulty and road surface, and technical markers when an ad or a rating dialog is requested, plus device, app and session information collected by the Firebase SDK. Crashlytics receives crash stack traces, relevant app state, device and OS information, and recent gameplay-event breadcrumbs to help diagnose failures. We do not attach your name, email address, account or a custom user ID because the app does not request them.
You can turn diagnostics off again at any time. Analytics collection stops immediately; the Crashlytics preference applies to subsequent app launches. Firebase data is processed by Google under the Firebase Privacy and Security terms.
6. Tracking permission and your choices
On iOS, the app may ask for permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. Refusing this permission does not prevent you from playing. Advertising may be less personalized.
On Android, there is no equivalent prompt. Your advertising choices are governed by the consent form shown by Google’s User Messaging Platform and by your device settings.
Where a privacy-options entry point is required, you can reopen it in the app under Settings → Privacy → Manage advertising choices. You can also change the platform-level setting in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking or in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
7. Legal grounds
Where applicable, personalized advertising and access to certain device identifiers rely on your consent. Essential storage is used to provide the app features you request. Advertising security, fraud prevention, compliance and non-personalized ad delivery may also rely on applicable legal obligations or legitimate interests, subject to your rights and local law.
8. Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell your local lesson progress or settings. Advertising information may be shared with Google and advertising partners involved in serving, measuring and securing ads. Those providers may process information outside your country and use safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.
9. Retention
Local progress and settings remain on your device until you reset or remove them. Google and its partners retain advertising and consent information according to their own policies, legal requirements and your privacy choices.
10. Children
Master the Road is not designed specifically for children. It is not listed in Apple’s Kids Category and does not take part in Google Play’s Teacher Approved or Designed for Families programmes. We do not knowingly request names, email addresses or accounts from children. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information may contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of personal information, withdraw consent, or receive a portable copy. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Contact us at tar.wael1@gmail.com. We may need enough information to verify and handle your request.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the app. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, advertising services or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised, and material changes may also be communicated in the app or its store listing.
